Versmold. Hamburg. 29.08.2022. The Nagel-Group focuses on cyber security and passes the globally recognised ISO 27001 audit by Dekra. The certification according to ISO 27001 distinguishes the Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISMS stands for the management and protection of corporate data by identifying risks and procedures to reduce them. The audit proved that the focus topics such as availability, confidentiality and integrity of the information security management are ensured by optimal processes and structures and that risks are minimised.

“Cyber security is of extremely high importance for our IT infrastructure, which makes our security management a key competence. Because the protection of our data and our systems is eminently important for us and our customers,” says Michael Lütjann, Chief Information Officer at the Nagel-Group. “The international recognition of the certificate and the globally applicable requirements for certification make it clear that the processes for information security in the Nagel-Group comply with the latest international standards,” says Michael Lütjann. The certification proves and confirms the effectiveness of the Nagel-Group’s security structures and security management.

Within the scope of the audit, the introduction, operation and continuous improvement of the ISMS could be proven. The systematic procedures for securing data and information were confirmed and accepted by the auditor.
