Düsseldorf/Leipzig, 07 December 2022: Nagel-Group has signed a long-term lease for a further 12,000 square metres of logistics space in the “SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig-Airport”. This increases the rental space of Germany’s largest food logistics company in the area to a total of 42,500 square metres.
“The sustainable expansion of our network is an important priority for us. Our closely meshed locations enable us to react flexibly to market demands and to transport system-relevant products to their destination even in times of crisis,” says André Pleines, Executive Director Real Estate, Nagel-Group. “Our logistics centre in Kabelsketal near Leipzig is of enormous importance to us in supplying the region. The cooperation with SEGRO as our landlord is always goal-oriented – we look forward to the long-term partnership.”
The “SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig-Airport” is located in Kurt-Nagel-Allee in the village of Großkugel in the municipality of Kabelsketal between Halle (Saale) and Leipzig and is characterised by its direct proximity to Leipzig/Halle Airport. Located directly on the B 6, there are also excellent connections to Dresden, Halle and Kassel via the A 9 and A 14 motorways.
“We are very pleased that we can enable our existing tenant Nagel-Group to continue to grow on site by expanding our space and thus realising a long-term contract extension,” says Christopher Gigl, Investment Director at SEGRO in Germany.
