Poznan. 28 July 2023. The Nagel-Group has moved into a new location in Poznań, Poland. The food logistics company has leased a warehouse with an adjoining office building in P3 Poznań Park. The warehouse space covers 13,400 square meters, which is supplemented by 700 square meters of modern office space.
“The expansion of our logistics space by another 14,000 square meters gives us the opportunity to meet the high demand from customers,” says Bartosz Michalski, Technical Director CEE at Nagel Poland. “The modern premises at P3 Poznań Park enable us to offer our customers an excellent standard of quality.” The P3 Logistics Park has modern warehouse equipment and meets BREEAM certification, which assesses the sustainability of buildings, at Excellence level. “It allows us to offer our employees a modern workplace while ensuring the optimal environment for storing our products,” adds Bartosz Michalski.
The logistics halls in Poznan were built according to energy-efficient construction standards. PIR core panels provide high insulating power against energy and temperature losses. The installation of a photovoltaic system for a more independent energy supply is being planned. The warehouse is equipped with systems to recover wastewater for cooling processes.
“Poland is a focus market for us in which we are investing strategically. The good location in the P3 Poznań Park allows us to optimally expand our network and improve our movement of goods between Poland and Germany,” says André Pleines, Executive Director Real Estate at Nagel-Group.
The P3 Poznań Park is one of the largest logistics parks in western Poland and is located south of Poznań in the immediate vicinity of the S11 expressway with direct access to the A2 highway. This highway provides a connection to the east in the direction of Warsaw and to the west in the direction of Berlin as well as to the Nagel-Group site in Wustermark.
